PTV (ICSE) Spreading Joy and Compassion: Grade 10 Students’ Community Outreach

In a heartwarming display of empathy and kindness, our Grade 10 girls and boys embarked on separate community outreach initiatives, spreading joy and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

The Grade 10 girls visited a local girls’ orphanage run by Society of the Helpers of Mary where they interacted with the residents, played games, and shared laughter. This visit not only brought smiles to the faces of the orphanage’s residents but also taught our students the value of compassion, understanding, and social responsibility.

Meanwhile, the Grade 10 boys visited a nearby old age home, where they spent quality time with the elderly residents, listening to their stories and sharing experiences. This visit helped bridge the intergenerational gap and reminded our students of the importance of respecting and caring for our elderly.

Both visits were a resounding success, showcasing the students’ ability to connect with others, empathize with their struggles, and make a difference in their lives. These experiences will undoubtedly shape our students into compassionate and socially responsible individuals.
