18th Annual Sports Meet – Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE)

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) celebrated its 18th Annual Sports Meet on 9 November 2025 with great enthusiasm, energy, and school spirit.

The day commenced with a grand inaugural featuring the Guard of Honour, Flag Hoisting, and a spectacular March Past by the four houses — Savarkar, Nehru, Naidu, and Tagore. The precision, coordination, and confidence of the participants set the tone for an exciting day ahead.

The Chief Guest, Ms. Pranali Patil, a national-level hockey player who has represented Hockey Maharashtra, declared the meet open and inspired students to participate with dedication and true sportsmanship. The event was also graced by Shri Bansidhar Dhurandhar, Sir, Honorary Treasurer, PTVA, whose presence was a source of motivation and encouragement to all.

Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Arnavaz Bhagat, presented the Annual Sports Report, highlighting the students’ achievements in various national, state, regional, zonal, and district-level competitions.

An opening display paid tribute to India’s sporting achievements in 2025, including the Women’s World Cup, and also honoured PTV (ICSE) sports achievers for 2025–26, recognising their excellence at various levels.

The field then came alive with thrilling track and field events and vibrant displays of Yoga, Aerobics, Indigenous Games, and Mass P.T., each performance reflecting discipline and teamwork. The Tug of War finals, won by Savarkar House, drew loud cheers from the audience, while the parents’ competition added a joyful and engaging touch to the celebration.

Naidu House proudly claimed the Best March Past Trophy, while Nehru House earned the title of Best House for the Academic Year 2025–26.

• Champion of Champions (Boys – Grade 10): Master Aadhiraj Brahmanathkar
