The students of the primary and secondary sections participated in various cultural activities and performances. They sang devotional songs, enacted a skit and recited religious verses. Dindi Sohada (Dindi Ceremony) was organised in the school auditorium and corridors to celebrate Ashadi Ekadashi. These students carried saffron flags, palanquins and also Tulsi Vrindavan on their heads. 

In the Secondary Section, the celebration started with the Maharashtra song. Our Principal, Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat along with some students participated in the puja of Vitthalrukmini, Palkhi, and Dnyaneshwari in the Assembly. Students also shared valuable information about the importance of ‘Ashadi Ekadashi’ and the relevance of ‘PandharpurYatra’ for the devotees. They performed a dance to the song ”Vitthal, Vitthal”. Girls and Boys of Grade VI to X were dressed as Warkaris with beautiful costumes. 

In the Primary Section assembly, students first sang the Maharashtra song. The program then continued with a heart-touching skit by the students of Grades IV and V that got everyone reminiscing about Sant Namdev. The students of Grades III and V, dressed as Varkaries. Students also put up a graceful dance performance.

Our Principal motivated the students by giving an insight into the culture and its principles. The celebration brought in a feeling of devotion and spirituality amongst the students.
