Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden and Zoo, Byculla, in collaboration with the BMC, proudly celebrated the 73rd National Wildlife Week (2nd to 8th October 2025) with the grand inauguration of Vanyavani Vanyajeev Mahotsav 2025! 

As part of the celebrations, various exciting competitions were conducted for schools across Mumbai, promoting awareness about wildlife conservation and human-wildlife coexistence.

Among the shining stars was Master Yuvaan Raut, a student of grade 6, who secured the First Prize in the Drawing Competition (5th to 7th Std. group) with his beautiful artwork reflecting the theme “Human and Wildlife Coexistence.”

Yuvaan was awarded a certificate and a special gift by Zoo Director Dr. S. Tripathi during the award ceremony held on 7th October. His creativity and message were met with enthusiastic applause!
