FILMIT COMPETITION 2021-22
DIRECTORS IN THE MAKING
Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) aims to foster an all-round development in our students, not just in academics but in the fields of art music, and culture as well.
INTACH HECS (Heritage Education and Communication Service) is an organization that recognizes the importance of heritage education and spreads awareness through different activities. ‘Filmit India FILM FESTIVAL 2021-22’
is one such platform where children are encouraged to culturally express their understanding, care, and concern through the exciting experience of making and sharing films.
Six students from our school, across grades 6 to 8, were selected after a thorough scrutiny of their work for the Film Making Competition. This year our students
competed with nine schools each from Mumbai and Goa. Ms. Shaili Sathyu, Artistic Director of Gillo Repertory Theatre, a Mumbai-based organization that
specializes in Theatre for Young Audiences was the Chief Guest at the Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 9th February 2022. We are proud to announce that Sajiree Lele from grade 8 won the ‘Best Narration Award’ for her film ‘My Home Garden’ and Yashada Chaphekar from grade 7 won the ‘Best Informative Film Award’ for her film ‘The Glow of Hope’.
