From Niagara to the Aztecs: A Classroom Expedition
Grade 6 Geography Activity – North America
To introduce the students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) to the fascinating continent of North America, an engaging classroom activity titled “Passport to North America” was conducted for Grade 6. Students explored famous landmarks, national symbols, and unique geographical features through a fun, interactive quiz format.
Each student was given a specially designed passport worksheet, where they collected “stamps” by answering clues related to places like the Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls, the Canadian Maple Leaf, the Aztec Pyramids, and animals like the Bald Eagle. The activity helped spark curiosity and build a foundation for deeper understanding of the continent.
The session was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and active participation, setting the tone for an exciting journey through Geography!
