Grade 10 Students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) Visit Old Age Home

On 3rd October 2024, the Grade 10 students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) had the privilege of visiting ‘Jivan Asha’ home for the elderly at Andheri (West). This visit was part of an initiative to connect with the elderly, spread joy, and create a bridge between generations.
During their time at the old age home, the students organized a short, yet entertaining program for the residents. The program included soulful songs and melodious music, which brought smiles and laughter to everyone present. The atmosphere was filled with warmth as the students not only  interacted with the elderly, sharing stories and listening to the rich experiences of the residents but also generously donated the daily necessities.
For the students, this visit was an enriching experience that left them with fond memories. They returned with a sense of gratitude and a deeper understanding of the value of empathy, respect, and the simple joy of human connection.
