Grandparents’ Day Celebration

“Grandparents are the delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories, and love.”

On 7th September 2022, the Secondary Section of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) celebrated Grandparents’ Day to thank and acknowledge the contribution of Grandparents. The celebration began with the welcoming of the grandparents which was followed by a poem recital. Exciting games such as Housie, Antakshari, and Who has the lucky card? were conducted to give the event a feel of being a live celebration. Spot prizes were also given to the grandparents. The scintillating song and dance performance by the students took the grandparents down memory lane. Students of Grade X expressed their gratitude by sharing what they had learned from their grandparents and how their grandparents played a vital role in inculcating values.

The Principal Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat addressed the importance of celebrating Grandparents’ Day. She emphasized gratitude to all the grandparents for the important role they play in family life. At the end of the celebration, the grandparents expressed their gratitude and love to the Principal, School, and teachers and commented on how special they felt.
