Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE): Grade 1 Parents Orientation
On January 18, 2024, an orientation programme took place for the parents of Grade 1 students enrolled in the academic year 2024-25. Mrs. Rohini Natekar, the primary section supervisor, initiated the programme by extending a warm welcome to the audience.
A presentation showcasing the school’s mission, vision, infrastructure, accolades and achievements of the school and the principal, as well as the students’ accomplishments across various fields and the diverse activities fostering the holistic development of students, captivated the parents’ interest.
Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat, the principal, delivered a comprehensive overview, discussing the school’s stellar ICSE results, the dedicated team of teachers and staff, the implementation of NEP in teaching methods, the CCE pattern of evaluation, school rules, and future plans.
Dr. Mugdha Wagh-Shaan, the occupational therapist of PTVA, conducted an engaging session offering parents valuable insights on preparing their children for the transition to Grade 1, emphasising good health and maximising their children’s potential.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A. A vote of thanks expressed appreciation for all contributors, extending gratitude to parents for their trust in Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE). Overall, the orientation program proved to be a success.
