Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) Secondary Section celebrated its 18th Annual Day with great pride and enthusiasm, presenting a thoughtfully curated programme based on the theme “India’s Educational Odyssey.” The event beautifully traced the journey of Indian education from ancient gurukuls to modern, future-ready learning, highlighting its enduring values and transformative impact.
The celebration began on a solemn note with an invocation, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and celebration. Through a series of well-coordinated cultural performances, students portrayed the evolution of India’s education system, seamlessly blending tradition, innovation, and vision.
The formal segment commenced with the welcome and introduction of the Chief Guest, Dr. Rajendra D. Shinde, Former Principal of St. Xavier’s College. In his address, Dr. Shinde appreciated the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, and encouraged students to embrace learning as a lifelong journey rooted in values and critical thinking.
Students who achieved exemplary performance in the ICSE Board Examinations 2025 were felicitated, acknowledging their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.
The Annual Report was presented by the Principal, Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat, who highlighted the school’s significant achievements during the academic year, encompassing academics, co-curricular accomplishments, and initiatives aimed at nurturing responsible, confident, and socially aware learners.
The occasion was further graced by members of the Board of Directors of PTVA- Shri Anil Ganu, President; Shri Vinay Jog, Vice President; Mrs. Janhavi Khandekar, Chief Academic and Administrative Officer- along with other dignitaries.
The cultural programme that followed brought the theme alive through impactful dances, skits, and musical presentations, each segment reflecting milestones in India’s educational journey and the role of education in nation-building.
