Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ICSE’s Yash Phadnis – Championing Skating Success
Yash Phadnis, studying in Grade III, excelled in district-level skating competitions, securing remarkable achievements:
1) Won two gold medals in the Roller Athletics District Skating Championship 2023 held at YMCA, Borivali on December 3, 2023, organised by the Roller Athletics Federation (India), affiliated with the World Roller Athletics Federation and recognised by the School Games Federation of India.
2) Attained third place (bronze medals) in the RGOI District Championship 2023-24 Skating Competition on November 5, 2023. This event, conducted by the Rural Games Organisation of India, affiliated with the World Rural Games Organisation and recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, India.
His outstanding performance in these events secured Yash’s selection for the state-level skating competition. He competed in the U/10 Boys category for recreational inline racing, participating in both long and short race categories.
