Paying reverence to our Legacy: Shivaji Jayanti Celebration at PTV ICSE

Students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ICSE, Grades 6 and 7, marked Shivaji Jayanti with a powerful and immersive theatrical presentation celebrating the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Taking complete ownership of the creative process, the students researched historical events, wrote original scripts, directed their own plays, and enacted significant moments from the great leader’s life. These thoughtfully curated performances were showcased to all students of Grades 6 and 7, transforming history into a living, engaging experience.

The enactments highlighted values of courage, leadership, strategic wisdom, and integrity, leaving the audience inspired and deeply connected to India’s rich heritage. The celebration stood as a testament to experiential learning, teamwork, and the students’ remarkable creativity and confidence.
