Primary Section Annual Day Programme
On December 19, 2023, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya’s Primary Section held its Annual Day, marking the first time this section organised such an event independently. Out of 779 students, 640 participated. The event commenced with a Vandana dance for invoking blessings.
Dr. (Mrs.) Arnavaz Bhagat, the Principal, delivered the annual report, highlighting the school’s achievements. Chief Guest Mrs. Manju Mehta addressed parents, emphasizing their significant role in the school, and shared valuable tips. Outstanding students were honored through a prize distribution ceremony presided over by Mrs. Manju Mehta and PTVA’s Honourable President, Shri Anil Ganu.
The cultural extravaganza featured Grade 1 students presenting the vibrant ‘Footsteps of Joy’ dance, showcasing India’s rich culture. An insightful English play titled ‘Dusk to Dawn’ depicted the transformative journey of a young affluent boy, emphasizing life lessons, character growth, and the value of family and friendships. Additionally, ‘Yogarambh’ creatively blended ancient and modern yoga poses, emphasizing the significance of yoga practice. The ‘PTV Band and Choir’ captivated the audience with an engaging medley of English songs, prompting everyone to sing along with our talented performers. The Marathi skit ‘Shyamchi Aai,’ inspired by the book, emphasized how parental guidance from the beginning shapes an individual’s path to greatness. Young dancers honoured our motherland with a patriotic dance, using various props, in a performance called ‘Jai Ho India.’ Additionally, the Hindi skit, titled ‘Itihaas ki or,’ depicted a chapter from Chanakya’s great teachings. The final act, ‘Resilience,’ showcased the theme of perseverance despite challenges, urging individuals to make the most of life’s offerings.
The Annual Day concluded on a joyful note, leaving the parents, students, and PTV ICSE staff with unforgettable memories.
