PTV (ICSE) Embracing Inclusivity to Empower Young Minds for a Diverse Future
Samarth by Hyundai, in partnership with NDTV, introduced a pan-India initiative to promote inclusivity, accessibility, awareness, and empathy for people with disabilities. On 5th August 2024, students of grades 6 and 7 from Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) attended a workshop on ‘Inclusivity’ and created best wishes cards for India’s Para-athletes competing at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. Among 20 schools in six major cities—Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune—PTV (ICSE) was honored to be part of this prestigious initiative.
The initiative’s execution is led by School Chameleons, an organization dedicated to harvesting stories of change using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a foundation, empowering schools, teachers, and students to make a difference.
The interactive session was facilitated by Ms. Rijuta Sawant, a Mumbai-based writer, content developer, and artist. The school Principal, Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat, emphasized on the significance of inclusivity highlighting the different initiatives taken by school to sensitize students towards these values of life.
