PTV (ICSE) Exploring Ocean Currents and the Symphony of the Seas at the Mega Ocean Exhibition

At the ‘OCEAN EXHIBITION’ hosted by PTVA, PTV ICSE showcased a diverse range of exhibits unraveling key facets of oceanography on 6th and 7th January 2024. From the dynamics  of different Ocean Currents to the challenges posed by icebergs on trade routes, each display offered insightful perspectives. The exhibition delved into the Coriolis force, explaining its role in shaping global atmospheric and oceanic circulation. Highlighting the environmental urgency, the Gyres exhibit shed light on the Pacific Ocean’s largest Garbage Patch. Insights into El Niño’s climatic effects and a captivating display titled “Whispers of the Deep” rounded out the comprehensive showcase. PTV ICSE’s participation successfully educated visitors on the wonders and challenges of our oceans, fostering awareness about the critical need for marine conservation. The Chief Guests, Dr. Soniya Sukumaran (Senior Principal Scientist and Scientist in charge CSIR National Institute of Oceanography) and Vice Admiral Kishor Thakare (Retd) inspired the students with their educative and informative presentations.
