Students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) Transforming Plastic Waste to Sustainable Future
The students of the Sanjeevani Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE), under the guidance of the team of Globalcity Farmer – Mrs. Kaumudi Titus Passanha, Mr. Titus Passanha and Mr. William Passanha along with Mrs. Preeti Iswalkar (Teacher) – successfully completed the ‘Waste Segregation’ activity. PTV (ICSE) is one of the very few schools in Vile Parle actively involved in recycling plastic. “PTV ICSE School is handling such amazing initiatives under the support of their visionary Principal Dr. Mrs. Anavaz Bhagat,” said Mrs. Kaumudi Passanha.
The students collected a huge volume of plastics from home and brought them to school which was then segregated, packed and handed over to PROJECT MUMBAI for recycling. Project Mumbai recycles plastic waste and creates useful items from it. The Sanjeevani Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) aims to motivate students to be conscious and responsible citizens and contribute to environment protection through the different activities planned by the club.
