Young Girls of PTV (ICSE) Excel at Film making
INTACH HECS (Heritage Education and Communication Service) is an organization that recognizes the importance of heritage education and spreads awareness through different activities. ‘Filmit India FILM FESTIVAL 2022-23’ is one such platform where children are encouraged to culturally express their understanding, care, and concern through the exciting experience of making and sharing films.
The creative efforts made by the school were greatly appreciated. Seven students from our school, across grades 6 to 8, submitted their short films, and on 10th February 2023 the two students received the prize for their efforts and received certificates and trophies from the guests Nancy Nisa Beso (Film Producer), Somya Bhardwaj (TV Commercial Producer), Mr. Santosh, (Dean of Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art) and Purnima Datt (Principal Director, Heritage Education, and Communication Service- INTACH).
1. Kavya Vihurkar from grade 6 won the ‘BEST PERSONAL HERITAGE’ award for her film ‘The Struggles of My Grandfather’
