Nelson Mandela International Day Celebrated with Kindness and Service

To honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy, the students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) engaged in thoughtful acts of service and kindness on 18th July, 2025.

They wrote thank-you notes to community helpers, now displayed on the school board, and collected gently used books for donation to those in need. Students also shared short write-ups on small acts of kindness they’ve done, which now brighten our bulletin boards.

A highlight was the creation of a colourful chain of paper links, each carrying a message of hope, peace, or kindness, now proudly displayed on the second floor.

These simple yet powerful actions reflect Mandela’s belief that we can all make a difference—one small step at a time.
