INVEST IN OUR PLANET

The students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, ICSE enthusiastically participated in various activities to commemorate World Earth Day on 22nd April, 2022. A special assembly was held wherein the students presented a mellifluous song, a sensitizing skit, poems in Marathi and Hindi, and soulful dances dedicated to our blue planet. The audience witnessing the performances was proud to see them performing with such an élan and confidence. The Powerpoint presentation depicted the dire need to protect the Earth and proved to be an eye-opener for the audience.

The Principal, Dr (Mrs.) Arnavaz Bhagat praised the efforts of all the students and asked them to thank Mother Earth for all its bountiful gifts in the form of all flora, fauna, and beautiful landscapes. The students took a pledge to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet. After this, the Principal initiated the ‘Sanjivani Club’ by sowing a seed to instill a sense of responsibility for the maintenance of the trees and plants throughout the year. The event rekindled emotive concerns and instilled in the students the love and respect for Mother Nature.
