EARTH DAY MASS ASSEMBLY
The students of Grades 3-5 observed Earth Day on 22nd April, 2022, through a Mass Assembly. Keeping in mind the theme of Earth Day 2022, i.e., ‘Invest In Our Planet’, the assembly aimed at encouraging every student to take up the responsibility to create and maintain a healthy environment.
A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the students to create an awareness about the threats posed to the planet due to various human activities. Participants also presented a Hindi Poem, a Dance and an English Skit. The assembly culminated with the students taking a pledge to save and protect nature and it’s resources.
Students of Grade 5 also created up-cycled items using articles that were no longer useful to them and the same was displayed outside the Art Room for all students to see.
