PTV(ICSE) Gurupurnima Celebration

‘Mata Pitah Guru Daivam’

The Students of the Secondary Section of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with a lot of reverence. The function began on a happy note with students from grades VI to VIII singing a group song. It was followed by a beautiful poem composed by Avanti Vete and Ojasvee K of grade VIII highlighting the Guru’s role in shaping the students’ life.

The Executive Body of the PTA arranged for a Guest speaker, Mr. Vivek Apte, a Commerce & Law Graduate from the University of Mumbai who gave an enlightening talk on values, knowledge and the importance of a Guru in one’s life. The program was also graced by the Hon. Joint Secretary, PTVA, Mr. Hemant Bhatawadekar. The PTA also felicitated the Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Arnavaz, for her hard work and dedication towards the school and for bringing the school to greater heights of glory.
