The students of the Secondary Section of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) expand their vocabulary

In the time and age of auto-correct, predictive text, and spell check, students of grades 6 and 7 of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) participated in the Spell Bee Competition on 13th February 2023. The main aim of the competition was to enhance the spelling and literary skills of children by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary and improve their communication and comprehension skills. The competition helped the children to familiarize themselves with the spellings and usage of many unfamiliar words. The following students won the final round of the competition:
- Nishad Bhatawadekar from grade 7 won the first prize.
- Sohum Khadye from grade 7 won the second prize.
- Nyssa Dharwadkar and Trivikram Ranade from grade 6 won the third prize.
