Honouring Grandparents: A Joyous Celebration at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ICSE

Grandparents, the cherished treasures of every family, the custodians of traditions, and the beloved storytellers, were the center of attention on the 17th of October 2023 when Grade 1 students of PTV ICSE celebrated Grandparents’ Day.

The festivities commenced with a heartwarming welcome extended to the grandparents through a melodious song. The song conveyed the deep love and appreciation the students held for their grandparents, making them feel cherished.

The Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Arnavaz Bhagat, addressed the gathering and underscored the indispensable role of grandparents in the lives of their grandchildren.

The students, in a scintillating performance, danced to a musical medley. The students also presented a lively Hindi action song and a soulful Marathi poem as part of the program.

Duet performances of grandparents with their grandchildren beautifully portrayed the sweet and loving relationship between them. As the duos sang and recited poems together, their fondness and affection for each other shone through.

To further enhance the festive atmosphere, engaging games were organized, with grandparents participating enthusiastically.

A selfie station was arranged, inviting grandparents to capture timeless moments with their beloved grandchildren.

The program exuded warmth and celebrated the profound bond shared between a grandparent and a grandchild, brimming with love.
