A Vibrant Celebration of Culture and Language at PTV ICSE

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ICSE, Secondary Section, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and Hindi Diwas on 21st September, 2026 with great enthusiasm and reverence. The programme commenced with the ceremonial welcoming of Lord Ganesha, followed by the soulful recitation of Ganapati Atharvashirsha.The Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Arnavaz Bhagat, addressed the students with an inspiring message on the significance of preserving our rich cultural heritage, timeless traditions, and cherished values. On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, she extended her heartfelt and warmest wishes to all the students and their families.

The cultural programme featured a melodious rendition of ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’ and an energetic dance performance on ‘Gana Dhav Re’. The  thought-provoking Marathi skit highlighted the need for eco-conscious celebrations. The programme culminated in the divine ‘Sukh Karta Dukh Harta’ Aarti, creating an atmosphere of devotion and togetherness.

The celebration also marked Hindi Diwas with a short speech highlighting the significance of Hindi and its place in India’s linguistic heritage. The Kavi Sammelan added literary charm to the event, followed by an engaging poetic conversation between Karna and Arjun, bringing history and literature alive through verse.

The celebration beautifully showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing cultural awareness, linguistic pride and artistic expression among students. The vibrant performances and thoughtful messages left the audience with a deeper appreciation of our cultural roots and linguistic heritage.
