Ashadi Ekadashi Celebration at PTV ICSE – Secondary section.

The secondary section at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) celebrated  Ashadi Ekadashi with great enthusiasm and devotion.

The celebration began with the ceremonial worship of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini, followed by a traditional Dindi procession featuring saffron flags, Tulsi Vrindavans, Lezim, Fugdi, and students dressed as saints such as Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram,symbolizing devotion, unity, and the rich legacy of the Warkari tradition.

The programme included soulful Abhangs, a Bharud promoting the eradication of superstition, a thought-provoking skit “Zhale Mokale Aakash” advocating scientific thinking, and graceful dance performance.

The Principal, Dr ( Mrs) Arnavaz Bhagat extended warm Aashadi Ekadashi greetings to all.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal ,teachers, students and everyone who contributed to the successful celebration. The event inspired students to cherish Maharashtra’s rich cultural traditions while promoting rational thinking, social responsibility, and unity.
