Elections at PTV ICSE ( Secondary Section)

“Nurturing Future Leaders: School Elections at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ( ICSE)”

The elections for the post of Head Girl and House Captains of the four houses were conducted successfully at PTV ( ICSE) Secondary Section on 24th and 28th April 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience the democratic process firsthand.

The program commenced with an address by the Principal, Dr. Mrs. Arnavaz Bhagat ,who highlighted the importance of elections in a democratic system. The speech focused on values such as leadership, responsibility, fairness, and active participation—encouraging students to make informed and ethical choices while voting.

Following this, the candidates for the post of  House Captain addressed their respective houses. Each candidate presented their ideas, plans, and vision for their house, fostering a sense of healthy competition and leadership among students.

The election process was conducted in a smooth, transparent, and well-organized manner. This election activity served as an effective learning experience, in line with NEP 2020’s focus on holistic development, critical thinking, and real-world application of knowledge

Overall, the event was a great success, reinforcing the importance of student voice and participation in school governance.
