Payal Parekh Shines at KAM State Karate Championship.

Payal Parekh, studying in grade 9 at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ( ICSE),  achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Gold Medal in the Cadet Girls’ -54 kg category at the KAM State Karate Championship. The championship was held at the Divisional Sports Complex on 9th and 10th May.

Prior to the state championship, Payal earned her qualification by delivering an outstanding performance at the district-level karate tournament conducted in Virar on 26th April, where she secured victory and advanced to the state-level competition.

At the state championship, Payal demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and discipline throughout the tournament, ultimately clinching the Gold Medal in her category. With this victory, Payal has now qualified for the KIO National Karate Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Dehradun from 4th June to 7th June.
