Lokmanya Tilak Punyatithi Observed in PTV (ICSE)

The students from the Primary and the Secondary Sections of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) commemorated Lokmanya Tilak’s Punyatithi with a heartfelt class assembly on 1st August 2024. The program included a poem recitation extolling Tilak’s patriotism, a speech on his significant contributions to India’s freedom struggle, and a melodious song celebrating his enduring legacy. An engaging quiz on Lokmanya Tilak was conducted highlighting his incredible contributions to India’s freedom movement. A display showcased key moments from Tilak’s life, allowing students to delve deeper into his achievements. Reverence was paid by the Principal, staff, and students, reflecting on his inspirational role in India’s journey toward independence. Additionally, a handwriting competition for Grades 3 to 10 and a colouring activity for grades 1 and 2 were organized, engaging students in creative expressions of their admiration for Tilak.
