Sparkling Hearts & Shining Minds: Diwali and Children’s Day Unite!

On 8th November 2023, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) Secondary School celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, and Children’s Day through a colorful and heartwarming Mass Assembly. The students expressed their joy through melodious Marathi Song and foot tapping dance for Diwali. The importance of celebrating Diwali was well explained by the students. The assembly culminated with a strong message of celebrating the festival in an eco-friendly manner. The emphasis of sharing and spending time with each other on the festival was shared by the school Principal. The children’s bright smiles and boundless enthusiasm created an atmosphere of joy throughout the assembly.

The amalgamation of Diwali and Children’s Day in this mass assembly emphasized the importance of illuminating young minds with knowledge and love, much like the radiant lamps that light up the night during the festive season. The teachers’ performance for Children’s Day  was a heartwarming moment which showcased their talent and creativity in a delightful and lighthearted manner. The combined assembly of Diwali and Children’s Day promoted unity, cultural diversity and the spirit of togetherness.
